KAVIRAJ  SINGH

Kaviraj Singh is a senior advisors to Trustman  that was formed in the year 1998. Mr. Singh started his legal career in the year of 1996. Mr. Singh has essentially practiced in the areas of commercial laws with specialization in banking and real estate, Commercial and regulatory compliance laws. Mr. Singh used his expertise to establish first of its kind debt collection legal practice in the country. He also practiced in the area of foreign investments by regularly advising multinational corporations on establishing and doing business. Mr. Singh also edits a legal encyclopedia covering various laws of India.  Mr. Singh is regularly advising government of India and recently advised Indian Army for the revising policy for the procurement of pulses and drafting the purchase agreement.

 

Mr. Singh is a Emeritus Chapter Chairman of New York State Bar Association,  International Section.  Mr. Kaviraj Singh had been nominated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, India to the governing body of Aurbindo College under University of Delhi.  Mr. Singh is presented with memento by the Consular General of United State of America Consulate at New Delhi.  He is currently serving as President, Legal Cell of Indo-American Friendship Group and is also serving as Director of Federation of International Business Association based at New Delhi.

 

Mr. Singh is a graduate in law from University of Delhi (LLB, 1996). After his graduation, Mr. Singh did a post graduate diploma course in International Trade. Mr. Singh is also a graduate in Industrial Psychology.

A law graduate from Delhi University. To his credit he also has a Bachelors degree in Science before graduating in Law. Mr. Datt qualified as Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales in the year 1998.  Mr. Datt graduated in law in the year 1995 and got enrolled with the Bar at New Delhi.

 

He is a member of Law Society of England, Bar Association of High Court of Delhi, Bar Council of Delhi.

 

Mr. Datt started his career with Mr. Sanjay Karol who is now elevated to the Judge of Shimla High Court.  He is extensively  engaged by other leading law firms of India.

 

He largely practiced commercial law and Arbitration, Litigation.  Mr. Datt has essentially practiced in the area of International as well as national commercial litigation & arbitration in the area of Power, Corporate, Real Estate, Banking, Industrial dispute and constitutional law. 

 

Beside the litigation, Mr. Datt have been advising leading private equity funds  operating in the country for their domestic funds and FDI based investments including structuring of investments and handled FDI investments made by leading private equity funds in large real estate projects including land due diligence assignments and corporate compliance.
